Other irrigated crop ecosystems cover approximately 15 km2, 0.06% of SEQ. The map provided shows irrigated crops has a wider coverage across SEQ in comparison to other cultivated ecosystems. The major areas of irrigated crop ecosystems found in SEQ are located along the Lockyer Creek near Gatton in the west. Other areas of irrigated crops in the west are located along the Bremer River and the Logan and Albert Rivers in the south-west. Outside the SEQ region large areas of irrgated crops occur in the Burnett Mary region around Mondure.
